Pioneer Room
Used as a bed room and as a private sitting room, this room can independently connect with the Master Bed Room.

Exhibits in this room contain objects related to pioneer life. Early settlers of Rock Springs, Sauk Prairie and other communities are highlighted here as are the personal artifacts once used in daily life in the 1840s, 50s, and 60s. Of particular interest is the exhibit on William Canfield. Canfield was one of the first settlers to the region and was also among the first to survey Sauk County. He was also the County's first historian.
