Natural History Room This room was originally a bed room serving both family and guests. The room has built in storage and a marble sink. The exhibits in this room focus on the natural history of Sauk County and man's interaction with the natural resources found in the area. Of particular note is the painting, "Sauk Prairie Remembered" by Russian artist Victor Botkin. This well known painting is on loan to the museum by the C.C.C.S.P. and depicts the Sauk Prairie as it looked before white settlement.
